Information you put in a QR code

The app creates QR codes on your device. Text, links, Wi-Fi details, contact information, or location links that you enter are used to create the code during the session. They are not sent to QR Studio or included in ad requests.

QR Studio XD does not require an account. The initial release does not save a QR history. If you save or share an image, you choose its destination using the operating system’s options; the selected service or app may process the file under its own policies.

Preferences and ad-free reward

The app stores some preferences locally, such as language and theme, along with the expiration time of the temporary ad-free reward. Completing a rewarded video grants 24 hours without ads. This reward is recorded on your device and is not verified by a server; clearing app data or reinstalling the app may remove it.

Advertising and Google services

The free version uses Google AdMob and Google’s consent platform (UMP). Depending on your region, consent choices, and ad configuration, Google and its providers may process device data to serve, limit, measure, and protect ads. This may include IP address or inferred general location, device or advertising identifiers, device and operating system information, language, ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance data.

The app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission, and QR content is not sent to AdMob. Consent and advertising privacy options are presented where required. You can also read the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob privacy information.

Purchases

The initial release does not include purchases or subscriptions. PRO features are not enabled for purchase. If this changes in a future release, we will update this policy before offering them.

Permissions and location data

Creating a location QR code requires you to enter a map link; the app does not need access to your device’s physical location. Creating and exporting QR codes does not require camera access.

Retention and deletion

Preferences and the reward expiration time remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Exported files remain at the destination you chose and are managed through that service or location.

Age and audience

QR Studio XD is a general-audience utility and is not specifically designed or directed at children. The app does not require an account. Data processed through advertising services is described in the “Advertising and Google services” section.
